1.1 All players, participants, and affiliates of Titans Blind Cricket are required to read, understand, and adhere to the rules, regulations, and policies set forth by the club.
1.2 It is the sole responsibility of each player or participant to stay informed of any updates or changes to these rules, which will be published on the official Titans Blind Cricket website.

Titans Blind Cricket – Player Commitment and Club Affiliation Bylaw

  1. Binding Agreement 1.1 Any player selected to represent Titans Blind Cricket acknowledges and accepts that they are bound by the rules, regulations, and governance of the Titans Blind Cricket structure and club. 1.2 By accepting selection, the player agrees to uphold the integrity, discipline, and commitments required by the club throughout the designated playing season.

  2. Subscription and Financial Commitment 2.1 Each player is fully subsidized for their club subscription fees, which amounts to a total value of R2,400 per season. 2.2 This subsidy is a privilege provided by the Titans Blind Cricket to support players in their development and participation.

  3. Club Affiliation and Transfer Restrictions 3.1 The official playing season is stipulated as 1 August 2024 to 30 May 2025. 3.2 A player is not permitted to leave Titans Blind Cricket and join any other club within any other league during the active season without the consent of Titans Blind Cricket. 3.3 Each player is expected to participate in at least 80% of the season’s matches unless injured or has a serious issue. 3.4 Should a player wish to leave during the season, the decision will be at the sole discretion of the Titans Blind Cricket Management. 3.5 If a transfer is granted, the player will be liable to repay the full subsidized subscription amount (R2,400) to the club/structure before clearance is issued.

  4. Enforcement and Compliance 4.1 Players found in violation of this bylaw may be subject to disciplinary action, including suspension or disqualification from representing Titans Blind Cricket in any capacity. 4.2 Any non-compliance with this bylaw may result in legal action taken to recover the costs of the subscriptions owed, as well as any additional legal fees incurred by Titans Blind Cricket. 4.3 This bylaw is enforceable upon selection and remains in effect until the conclusion of the designated season.

  5. Amendments and Updates 5.1 Titans Blind Cricket reserves the right to update bylaws or agreements at any time, and it is the responsibility of members to stay updated via the official website.

  6. Tournament Conduct and Responsibilities 6.1 As a member of the Titans Blind Cricket Team, I acknowledge that I will uphold the highest standards of behavior and sportsmanship during the Training, Matches and Tournaments. I understand that my conduct reflects not only on myself but also on the team, the organisers, and the sport of Blind Cricket.

    Curfew and Timekeeping

    • A 10pm curfew will be strictly enforced throughout tournaments. All players must be in their own rooms by 10pm.

    • Punctuality is essential. Players are expected to arrive on time for all team activities, including breakfast, team bus departures, warm-ups, and on-field activities.

    • A penalty of R1 per minute will be imposed for any latecoming or poor timekeeping.

    Substance Abuse

    • Zero tolerance policy for alcohol and drugs.

    • Random drug tests will be conducted during matches or tournaments.

    • Failure to pass a drug test will result in a R5000 fine and suspension pending a hearing.

    Misconduct

    • No misconduct will be tolerated. This includes, but is not limited to, abusive language, disrespect towards teammates, opponents, or officials, and any behavior that brings the team or the sport into disrepute.

    Media and Social Media

    • As a member of the Titans Blind Cricket Team, I acknowledge that I will participate in all media and social media activities requested by management.

    • This includes, but is not limited to, interviews, photo shoots, and social media posts.

    Image Release

    • I grant the Titans Blind Cricket Team and its affiliates permission to use my image, likeness, and voice in any media, including but not limited to photographs, videos, and audio recordings.

    • I understand that this permission is perpetual and irrevocable.
